The Art of Living
Avimor is not just a subdivision it's a community. A rich social life is easy here, and you are cordially invited.
Living well takes effort and thoughtful planning, and, with our Art of Living program, we’re dedicated to helping you achieve your best life. Avimor even has its own Art of Living Director, who plans and coordinates community events that build neighborhoods and social interaction. Avimor is a place for fun, with a variety of events throughout the year, including a robust outdoor calendar with 100+ miles of foothills trails, eight community parks, and a large community center.
Look forward to monthly “Evenings at Avimor, Meet & Greet events, and informative “Avimor 101” presentations about subjects like fly fishing, gardening, Avimor wildlife, snowshoeing, hiking, dog training, birdwatching, and many more. If you like meeting and developing relationships with your neighbors, learning about where you live, weekly hikes and mountain bike rides, holiday parties, and socials, you’ll feel right at home in Avimor.
As Avimor continues to grow, so do the opportunities here. Whether you have an idea for an activity, club, event, our Art of Living Director is committed to making it happen. From hiking groups to bike rides, ski groups to game nights to wine tastings and everything in between, we’d love to help bring your passion to the people--we’ve already got clubs for books, writing, photography, shooting, knitting, and Mahjong and Bunco, and more physical things like aqua aerobics, stretch and yoga classes, and tap dancing and line dancing on our new dance floor.
The 12,000 square foot community center proudly hosts kid’s activities too, including preschool dance, music and movement, and swimming lessons. Of course, you can always work out in our state-of-the-art fitness center, where you’ll have no trouble finding a fitness partner or friend for a little conversation. We love to celebrate too, so look for holiday themed events like Easter egg hunts, Halloween parties and parades, St. Patrick’s Day parties, Christmas tree decorating events, and our famous annual chili cook off! Our community center is just that--a comfortable lounge area, library annex, meeting and exercise space, and gathering place that exists in service of the Avimor community.
Think beyond your backyard...
When you live in the Boise Foothills you tend to....spend a lot more time outside walking, mountain biking or just enjoying the panoramic views. At Avimor, 35 square miles are yours to explore as you please. Within Village One alone, you'll discover nearly 10 miles of trails and improved paths that connect up to 100 miles of additional foothills trails and the popular Ridge to Rivers trail system.
Avimor amenities include a 12,000 sqft Community Center with indoor swimming pool, large fitness center, multiple meeting rooms, lounge area, Library Annex, staging kitchen, and outdoor patio areas. These and other events create that small-town feel so many of our residents desire.

Avimor has committed to a proposed elementary school site in Avimor, and as Avimor expands and builds further Villages, it will set aside more land for school site development. Until then, Avimor residents can choose from numerous schools within the Eagle boundary of the Joint School District No. 2. As to elementary schools, residents can choose either the Eagle Hills Elementary School, which has a traditional school year, the Seven Oaks Elementary School, which is a year-round school, the Gallileo STEM Academy, which is a math & science magnet school, or the Eagle Elementary School of the Arts, which is a magnet school. Middle schools include Eagle Middle School and Gallileo STEM Academy. Two high schools are also available: Eagle High School and the Renaissance High School, which is an international studies magnet school.
Water service in Avimor is provided by Suez. Intermountain Gas Company provides gas service, and Idaho Power provides electricity. Avimor built its own state-of-the-art sewer company on-site, and it is known as the Avimor Water Reclamation Company. It plays an important role in Avimor's water conservation efforts by using reclaimed water to irrigate common areas, saving the Homeowner's Association thousands of dollars each year.
As to fire protection, Avimor has been annexed into the Eagle Fire Protection District. Because Avimor is located in the County, police and public safety services are provided by the Ada County Sheriff's Department.
